Pasta: Should I watch it?

Umm, hello ^^ I don’t post much (and I feel really guilty for not doing so) but it’s because well.. I don’t know what to do ^^” Another problem to it is that I don’t watch much dramas anymore.

But anywhoo, I was just wondering, should I start watching Pasta? It’s a little old but I have never watched one episode and I remember there was this big hype about it.

So, should I watch it or are there other drama’s you want me to watch and review?

Just leave your answer below there or somewhere~

Michelle.

Episode 15, OHSHC

When finding out why Haruhi declined their offers on trips during summer.
Twins: So that's why you wouldn't come to Bali with us.
Haruhi: Yeah.
Honey: And when we asked you to go to Switzerland, ne?
Mori: Mm.
Kyouya: And that's why I offered the idea of using one of my resorts for a cheap price.
Oh, Kyouya you! I see what you're trying to do! If only, if only, ne~? Maybe if that resort idea worked, you could maybe actually confess? : P

Ouran High School Host Club Episode 1 Review
I WILL NOW START OHSHC DRAMA REVIEWS NOW C:
There will probably be more reviews for OHSHC than I did for Heartstrings, most likely because there’s a lot of comparison I’d like to do between manga, anime, and live action even though it’s been a while since I’ve read the manga and watched the anime (although I am rewatching it currently). I also want to do pairing posts so look forward to those C:
Even though I watched all of the episodes up to date, but I just wanted to backtrack a bit. Like I said, although it’s been a long time since I’ve watched the anime and read the manga (it finished right…?), I can still remember the vague, main facts. You know, the big picture. I also want to do this since there’s been a lot of confessions on confessionals and opinions so I thought I’d share my own… Episode by episode C:
To me, Ouran High School Host Club isn’t just an anime or manga or drama nor is it only about pairings to me (although I can say the romance matters a lot to me). I’ll talk about that later, though. OHSHC has always been one of my favorite animes along with Fruits Basket. It’s very original and has its own twists and tastes to it.
When I first watched this, like when I first watch all live actions, I really had to open my mind to it because it’s still a need for adjustment from anime to live action. This live action really sticks to the anime. Although there are some few changes and tweaks that they had to make to really make the anime come alive, I think it’s really good. The actors, the sets, all of it is great. I especially like the actors (and actress) (except the girls playing the guests, they seem high all the time, like seriously, when I’m infatuated with someone, I squeal like a girl & jump up a down, I would know since I’m a fangirl >.<) because they make the characters come alive. To me, they’re able to take their own characters and making them their own without straying too far from the original. I always love those type of actors & actresses <3
As for episode 1, I think they really did a good job with it, except I’m really disappointed that it’s only 30 minutes and that they didn’t show how the members figured out that Haruhi was a girl… Especially how Kyouya knew first before everyone, but I’ll get to that in the pairing posts. Although, I am happy that when they found out that that girl was the one who threw Haruhi’s bag out the window, they actually gave her reason on how they found her out. I also like the little bit that they added where Haruhi returns the girl’s wallet. I’ll also emphasize on that later.
I really just want to focus on the characters for a second, well rest of this post. It takes up a lot of post space so I made separates pages for them.
Morinozuka Takashi
Haninozuka Mitsukuni
Hitachiin Twins
Ootori Kyouya
Suoh Tamaki
Fujioka Haruhi

I really regret not rereading the manga and rewatching the anime of Ouran High School Host Club.

I would’ve been able to make reviews flawlessly. Haha, but sadly, I didn’t.  Although, I am thinking about doing fanfictions because I’m a hard shipper for OHSHC pairings.

Live Actions

I’ve put a lot of thought into why live actions exist… And I’ve finally found the answer. Have you ever watched an anime and asked yourself, “Now I wonder how that would look like in real life?” or secretly wished that the anime was really real? Well, that’s when live actions come in. And usually, live actions do a great job in bringing these characters, events, and romances to life. In all honesty, I prefer the live action over he anime because it’s real. Yes, live actions do derive from animes but live actions don’t always follow the anime like how animes don’t follow the manga. What I mean by real though, is that you can actually really see their expressions if you guys know what I mean. You can see the sadness in their eyes, happiness, the side glances, every inch of movement, and it doesn’t seem fake, if you know what I mean. And I mean, they’re dramas, so there’s kind of more romance than there would be in the anime, even though there is romantic development in the mange, they’re still just pictures. I like to see the actual thing, you know? :) It’s just my opinion though

But sadly that number is decreasing. I’m not asking you guys to keep following if you don’t want to follow us or to promote us, the only thing is is that we gained this number of followers when I wrote episode summaries of Heartstrings. (Which I still have to finished but anywho).

I just want to tell you guys that

This is not a Heartstrings blog. This is a drama and anime review blog. I will try my best to make episode summaries along the way and am currently working on ones for Ouran High School Host Club. Please do not misunderstand the purpose of this blog, thank you. Sorry for this post, you can continue with your day :)

With love,
omo-domo

He grabs her wrists and throws her onto bed, sitting on top of her. “You said it had nothing to do with being a guy or a girl,” he said, “but as a guy, I can reach out for you anytime. A girl like you would never be able to stop me.”

She stared at him as her mind wandered back into a flashback, when Tamaki lectured her at the shore. Her eyes then drifted to where his hands gripped her wrists and held them against the bed. She tries to loosen his hold, only to be held tighter.

“So there’s this much of a difference,” she whispered. Her eyes wandered back to his and said, “You wouldn’t do it because there’s no advantage in doing this to me, right?”

Caught off guard, he stares at her for a second, then laughs it off and crawls back to the edge of the bed. “You’re an interesting one,” he muttered. “And so, do you understand now?” he asked, hoping she would get a clue of his feelings.

“Yes,” she answered. “I understand that Kyouya-senpai is actually very kind.”

Once again, caught off guard and at loss from her words, he replies, “What are you saying?”

“That was a follow-up to Tamaki-senpai, right? You pretended to be the bad guy on purpose to make me understand, right?” she asked.

He sighed in disappointment and wondered how he could get it through to her. And who other than Tamaki himself walks through the door in the midst of their conversation, asking for lotion, seeing him half-naked and Haruhi on the bed. Tamaki races towards him, but he throws the lotion at his face and exits the room, grabbing his shirt along the way. He closes the door, leans back, and exhaled a deep sigh, then continued on his way downstairs.

“What an interesting fellow,” he said to himself. He then took out his glasses, which he claimed to have lost, but had only broken them in trying to save Haruhi from drowning when she was pushed into the deep sea. “Haruhi! Get a hold of yourself! Haruhi! Haruhi!!!!” he screamed as he held her face in his hands. “Haruhi,” he softly exhaled as she woke up, bowing his head in relief, disbelief, and worry, among  other distressed feelings.

“Maybe I’m the weird one,” he said silently as he returned from the flashback, “since there’s nothing in it for me.”

This scene… Broke my heart. I’m so serious. I nearly cried, but… I don’t know, I’m not an easy crier. It was just so sad. After seeing this scene, I started shipping Kyouya and Haruhi. When I was reading the manga and watching the anime, I didn’t think much of it, of the bed scene I mean. I thought he got over it or he was just being his miser self, but after this… Oh man. I never saw Haruhi’s and Kyouya’s relationship the same ever. again. It was just so heart-breaking and… I’m just… At loss right now. You see throughout this whole episode how Kyouya looked at her, secretly looking after her, even though he pretended not to care, which kills me the most. And plus, out of all of them, he was the one freaking out the most when Haruhi wasn’t waking up. I think out of all of them, he’s probably the most lustful one, throwing her on the bed and all, haha. But it’s true since he probably knows that he doesn’t stand a chance against Tamaki and the twins. He’s never really made an impact on her, you know? He just “bullies” her and put a heavy debt on her, but he also looks after her in his own way. But I also think he’s the one who really cares for her the most, like, he’s the one most interested in her. I can’t really describe it, but for some reason, I feel like when it comes to feelings, he’s the one who would show it the most/hold back the most at the same time. I also think he’s the only one that can submit to his feelings more than Tamaki and Hikaru can, which gives him a little bit of less time trying to fight with himself than trying to fight the others for Haruhi, haha.
What actually kills me the most is that if Tamaki hadn’t come in… If Kyouya and Haruhi stayed together for a few more minutes, Kyouya would’ve been the one comforting Haruhi. He would’ve be the one holding her close and telling her it was alright. And thinking that just kills me. Can you guys imagine Kyouya holding Haruhi close and just being there for her? It makes want to cry :’C
Because of this scene, I have to rewatch the episodes again and just watch Kyouya. You know… Now that I think of it. Kyouya did get pretty pissed when Haruhi got hurt. Hm… Was that when he started developing feelings? Questions, Questions…
